Some new pictures. We went again to Gokurakuji, on the Enoden Line. It's a pleasant place; "gokuraku" in fact means "paradise". The unassuming ramen shop where we went to get some lunch, turned out to be run by an exceptionally hospitable old lady, who insisted that we ate in the picturesque upstairs room, rather than at the slightly grubby counter we were expecting. The lunch was excellent. As we were finishing, a band of drums and flutes struck up, and a large number of men of the villiage carried their portable shrine about, in a slow, bouncing dance, in time to the band.
